Our assessments and treatments take place in your chosen environment (home, local gym, day centre, work place) to ensure our approach is truly client centred.
We have various packages to suit your needs and we use range of equipments to provide a comprehensive therapy including FES, TENS, Saebo and various exercise modalities. We are able to provide intensive multi disciplinary rehabilitation to match inpatient rehabilitation or brief intervention to organise a programme to be self managed or with support from family/carer.
Services for care homes.
We provide active rehabilitation on individual basis or maintenance therapy, including Seating and postural management, moving and handling assessment and use of various transfer equipments.
We have extensive knowledge in disability management through exercise/stretches, positioning, use of splint and other support. If you are someone transferred to nursing home from hospital after a recent illness or surgery, and your aim is to go back to your own home in future, our therapy service can facilitate your functional recovery. We are able to work around the local NHS therapy service whilst you are on waiting list or receiving less intensity from NHS therapy team.
We can be contracted by care home to provide rehabilitation or regular maintenance therapy on individual basis or running group programme. We also provide training on Falls prevention, Posture and seating, moving and handling for complex patients.
We work closely with specialised seating companies like care flex, Invacare, seating matters in posture/seating assessment and management.

Improved mobility and other daily functions, reduced falls, reduced moving and handling issues for staff, improved positioning and pain management, improved standard of care. We can compliment the service provided by local NHS to improve functional abilities of residents who have deteriorated or recently discharged from hospital after illness / injury. Home visits for PRIVATE HOSPITALS AND REHABILITATION UNITS.
We can be contracted to provide Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy and Speech Therapy at home.
We can work on a ‘virtual ward’ basis for medically stable clients after the surgery or illness. We can complete home visit /access visit to enable safe discharge.

Services for care agencies.
We can provide assessment and therapy programmes for adults who are receiving regular care through private care agencies.
We complete manual handling assessments, functional assessments, assessments for appropriate equipment and establish best fitted care plans for both patient and their carers. We can also team up with care agencies to provide ongoing rehab at the clients’ home.
The assessment at home, care home or work base will include:
- Balance, strength, flexibility, endurance, posture and Gait assessment
- Functional Assessment / ADL
- Work station assessment
- Pain and tone assessment
- Wheelchair and seating assessment
- Environment and equipment needs
- Communication and swallowing, cognition, mood and executive functions.
During the assessment we may ask you to show us how you do some of these activities so that we can assess the difficulties you have, understand your problem and work out possible solutions that will make the activity easier for you and or your carer. We may need to visit you more than once and ask you to repeat some of the activities using different methods or equipment.
What happens after the assessment?
- Identify your needs and goals
- Further therapy sessions (Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy or other services– based on clinical needs). We can provide intensive rehabilitation or disability management.
- Advice on equipment and home adaptation
- Advice and information provision, organise self management programme if appropriate.
- Joint working with care agencies, NHS/Social service teams where required, specialist seating/chair providers, technology companies like Saebo, Neuro Fenix and FES.
Full information on treatment options, benefits and possible side effects, number of sessions required and cost will be provided, so that client and/or family can make an informed choice. Following the agreement for rehabilitation, our therapists will continue the treatment and review as required.
